Reflection
Creative work thrives in focused, calm conditions, which is why boundaries matter. For introverts, limits are not walls but careful choices that protect attention and reduce friction between ideas and execution.
Practical boundaries might look like time-blocking specific hours for deep work, setting a short daily communication window, silencing notifications, or announcing studio hours to collaborators. Start small: one protected hour, one message template for requests, one rule about when you’ll respond.
Keep boundaries humane and revise them when they feel rigid; notice when a limit serves your work and when it becomes avoidance. Saying no can be a kind act for your future self and your craft, not an unkindness to others.
