Reflection
As the day slows, small deliberate acts can help an introvert shed stimulation and step toward rest. A consistent ritual signals safety and predictability, letting the mind unclench without added noise.
Keep the rituals simple and sensory: dim the lights, lower screen brightness or set a tech curfew, make a warm caffeine-free drink, read a few pages, or jot one short note in a journal. Focus on one or two calming senses—soft light, gentle warmth, or a familiar scent are often enough.
Treat the first nights as gentle experiments; adjust timing and sequence until the routine feels natural rather than burdensome. Over time the ritual becomes a quiet bridge from busyness to sleep, owned and tailored by you.
