Energy Notice

Notice Your Energy: A Short Practice for Introverts

A calm, practical prompt to check your energy before social or work moments. Helps introverts decide when to rest, engage, or set a gentle limit.

Reflection

Before you step into a conversation, meeting, or social plan, take a moment to notice your energy. This is not a performance check but a simple inventory: are you alert, tired, frayed, or quietly steady.

Look for small signals—how steady is your breath, how quickly your thoughts move, the weight in your limbs, or the tone behind your replies. These cues are practical data that help you choose what to do next.

Use what you notice kindly: postpone, shorten, or reframe engagements, create micro-breaks, or confirm a clear boundary. The goal is a sustainable rhythm that respects your inner capacity while keeping you connected on your terms.

Guided reset

Try a two-minute check: pause, name one physical sensation, name one feeling or thought, then choose one small action—stay, step away, or adjust the plan.

Breathe in slowly, breathe out fully, and say quietly to yourself: 'I notice what I have and choose what I need.'
