Choose a spot that fits your life: a chair by a window, a narrow shelf with a cushion, or a tucked-in corner with a blanket. Reduce stimulation with soft light, one tactile object, and minimal clutter so the space invites rather than overwhelms.
Make visits short and routine: five to twenty minutes at predictable times to lower resistance. Use simple signals—closed journal, a lamp turned on—to show you're offline. Treat the nook as a practice: tidy it, adapt it, and let it quietly reinforce your boundaries.
