Reflection
Recharging is not indulgent; for many introverts it is practical care. A short, repeatable ritual helps you step away from noise, collect attention, and return with steadier focus. Keep it small so it feels doable and inviting.
Design a ritual that fits your life: choose a place, time, and two or three low-stim activities—warm drink, gentle stretching, listening to a single song, or five minutes of focused breathing. Remove screens or set them face-down and use a simple sensory anchor, like a favorite mug or scarf, to make the practice familiar.
Start with five to fifteen minutes and let the ritual expand or shrink by need. Consistency matters more than length; regular brief resets add up. Treat the ritual as a tender boundary you can gently defend between busy stretches.
