Reflection
Social rehearsal is a gentle, private run-through of an interaction you expect to have. It isn’t performance; it’s preparation. Imagining the flow and testing a few lines gives you a kinder starting place for real moments.
Choose one short scenario—an introduction, a brief update, or a question you want to ask. Spend five minutes outlining an opening, one or two likely responses, and a neutral closing. Practice silently, whisper, or speak aloud once; notice what feels natural and let go of what doesn’t.
Treat rehearsal as a tiny, repeatable ritual. Keep a short note of what worked, shrink or lengthen the practice as needed, and carry the memory of your rehearsal as a calm, private resource rather than a script you must follow.
